“Until one has loved an animal a part of one’s soul remains unawakened.” – Anatole France  | I can’t imagine a life without animals or pets. They give us so much! Unconditional love, humor, adventure, therapy – they are true friends and helpmates. Soothers of the soul.  God knew we needed them, as they need us. How full and rich our lives are with these dear hearts! Even on those days where they get into the garbage bins, chew our favorite sweater, sneak sandwiches off the counter, leave little “presents” behind the couch, we know that they are MORE than worth it. The scale dips in their favor every time and we contemplate our own worthiness of being in their lives. They persevere with us through thick and thin, accept us as we are, and are a shining example of love put into actions.
